Soft Pressing – Firm Grip

The secret of the PFLITSCH cable glands’ success is based on the soft-pressing principle. The cable is first fed through the sealing insert and then through the double nipple, which is screwed into the enclosure. When the pressure screw or compression nut are tightened, the sealing insert fully encloses the cable, securely fixing and reliably sealing the cable without it being constricted or damaged. Over time, this principle has proven to be a superior method that achieves excellent results in universal properties such as tightness, strain relief, bending protection and ease of assembly.
